Wild Blackberry Jelly

The wild blackberries didn’t produce this year the way they did in 2022. Neither our patch here at home nor my sister-in-law Chris’ homestead patch was as successful.

Still, we got a couple of worthy pickings accomplished and enough blackberry juice to make a good batch of the jelly that is my absolute favorite. I love the rich taste with just a hint of bitterness. There is no better jelly, in my opinion.

So if you received a jar of our wild blackberry jelly, you are really, really special. Because I hold onto them and savor everything inside.

Ingredients: fresh blackberry juice, lemon juice, sugar, natural fruit pectin
